Kristopher - I started shooting still when I was about 10yrs old. My first camera was an old point and shoot. I
upgraded to a bridge point and shoot not long after that. When I turned 11, I started using a Nikon D40 with a
Nikkor 70-300mm which was later changed to a 500mm. I'm now 14 and currently use a Canon EOS 40D
with a Sigma 170-500mm.
Richard - I started filming right around the age of 13, about the same age as Kris started taking stills. I’m now
20 and am attending College and will be majoring in Videography. My first camera I used was a Sony DCR-
TRV350. That camera was great, more than 20X optical zoom and it used tape. Not too long after, I switched
to a JVC Everio GZ-MG330. I found Youtube by searching for videos online and decided to join it not too
long after it opened. All the videos I filmed were then uploaded onto my channel where after a couple of
months and more and more videos, the channel grew into what it is now with more than 5.5 million viewers
and 2300 subscribers. When Youtube started supporting HD videos, I decided to buy an HD camera. I now
use a Sony HDR SR11, which so far, has been the best camera I’ve ever owned or used. My youtube
channel, youtube.com/8081rt, was the reason I decided to create a website. As videos of Nellis AFB were
continuously being uploaded, I was always being asked the same questions over and over again. To try and
end the questions, I created a site devoted to spotting around the base with answers to all the questions I’ve
been asked.
